The Special Olympics figure skating program seeks to promote ice sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and provide a place where individuals and their families have the opportunity to develop relationships with others within the Special Olympics community. The program provides for children and adults with intellectual disability who are both just learning how to skate, wanting to develop skating skills, or are looking for competitive opportunities in the sport of figure skating. This program relies completely on volunteers and space in the program is subject to volunteer availability. We are always in need of volunteer coaches so if you are interested, please contact the head coach. Additionally, if you have any other questions regarding the program, please feel free to email Janice.
